A customer can add a maximum of ₹50,000 of Amazon Pay Gift cards in a calendar month.

A customer might need to go through additional verification during the addition of Amazon Pay gift card.
Add Gift Card to balance Limit resets at the beginning of each calendar month , a customer can resume adding Gift-card after this reset.
Amazon reserves the right to modify this (Add Gift Card to balance) limit at any point of time.
If a purchase exceeds the redeemer’s Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid with a credit card, net banking, or debit card
Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash

Gift Cards can be redeemed on Amazon.in and with third-party merchants enabled to accept Amazon Pay Gift Card balance.
Gift Cards are subject to monthly redemption limits within a 30-day period. Transactions exceeding these limits may be declined and can be completed in subsequent months.
Unused Gift Card balance cannot be transferred to another Amazon Pay account and no interest will be payable on the balance.
